Founded in 2008 the ELHG (Eaton Local History Group) set about to collect all the information it could about the village of Eaton.

We’ve obtained many photographs, interviewed local residents and scoured the web for anything we could find about our village. It’s not a search that we’ve finished, in fact we urge everyone out there with any information that they think might be relevant to contact us so that we can increase our database. This is not just a website designed to share what we already know, it’s here so that we can learn more and share that knowledge with anyone who has an interest in Eaton.

With your help we can expand what we hope is already an interesting and informative website into the definitive resource of all information about our village.

Presently we have many photographs and written passages but soon we hope to offer video clips of interviews with residents past and present.
